LOST IN THE FOG

•    disputes, wars, conflict when can’t agree on the basics
•    God’s laws limit escalation of revenge
•    people of Noah’s day knew nothing about impending doom til flood came
•    don’t know the day Jesus will return
•    not very hopeful to see increased lawlessness, police ambushes

A BETTER MAP

•    foreign nations would be drawn by teaching of God’s ways
•    church to be witnesses of Jesus to the ends of the earth: light for the Gentiles
•    for real hope, need God’s instruction / salvation / justice

•    in addition to MAP (Bible), need recognition of Jesus’ Lordship / authority
•    keep watch, be ready, not ignorant – coming like a thief
