•    cravings costly: spending binges, stolen trucks
•    tug-of-war between flesh and spirit
•    deeds of the flesh: “I want ______”
•    crucify the flesh, be crucified to the world
•    fruit of the Spirit: “I overflow”

SELF-PREOCCUPIED OR SPIRIT-PLEASING AND SHARED PLANTING?

•    conceit swallows others up
•    don’t trick yourself: not that important!
•    sowing to please flesh reaps destruction: futile to mock God
•    pleasing the Spirit: mutuality, restoring others, sharing their load
•    still responsible as individual; keep on doing good
