A) A real friend is consistent in their affection
B) A true friend is brutally honest
C) A genuine friend is closer than family, even to the point of death
• not wanting to let a friend down
• no sacrifice too great because God’s Son died for me
• loving as oneself: Golden Rule
• love surpassed even that between genders
1) Be genuinely interested in other people
2) Smile
3) Remember that a person’s name is, to that person, the most important
word in the world...Use it often
4) Be a good listener.Encourage others to talk about themselves.Ask
questions
5) Talk in terms of the other person's interest; avoid “I”
6) Make the other person feel sincerely important

but evidences it

• take concerns to our Friend in prayer
