•    we died; life is now hidden with Christ in God

STABBING

•    put to death / rid yourselves of sin
•    fighting body’s misdeeds evidence of Holy Spirit in us
•    wants / attractions: body a temple for Spirit, belongs to Christ
•    warrings / attacks: beware blowing up; telling truth honours

STRIPPING AND STYLING

•    have taken off old self, clothed selves anew
•    removed distinctions of class, race, property, etc.
•    fruit of the Spirit: kindness, gentleness, patience, love, peace
•    forgive AS we’ve been forgiven
