4) A FATHER LEADS DESPITE HESITATION / RESISTANCE FROM HIS FAMILY

•    double-checked with God, but not dissuaded by companions’ doubts

5) A FATHER ACCOMPLISHES GREAT THINGS WITH THE LORD’S HELP

•    God gave David’s enemies into his hand

6) A FATHER RISES ABOVE HIS ENEMIES

•    refuses to retaliate against ungrateful folks he rescued not long before
