    ○    handling transgressions a merely personal matter?
    ○    sin’s effects like lost golf ball: alienated from God (Ps 51:3f)

●    WHAT ARE WE DELIVERED ‘FROM’?

    ○    rescued from enemies / those who hate us (69, 71, 74, Gen 22:17)
    ○    variety of enemies: political, spiritual - Satan / God (Gen 3:15; Mt 13:39; Lk 10:19; 1Pet 5:8; Jas 4:4; Col 1:21; Rom 2:5, 3:23)
    ○    forgiveness of sins, freedom from shame / condemnation (76f; Rom 5:10; Jn 10:10; Col 1:20; Rom 5:16; Is 45:17; Rom 10:11; Ac 15:9; Ps 103:12; Jn 3:16f)
    ○    not an easy fix we can do ourselves

●    WHAT ARE WE SAVED ‘FOR’?

    ○    enabled to serve God in holiness & righteousness (74f)
    ○    feet guided into peace by rising sun (78; Mal 4:2)
    ○    soul-healing, rest, enlightenment, Holy Spirit, mystical fulfilment (Is 61:1; Mt 11:28ff; Gal 3:12, 4:6; Jn 16:13; Rom 5:8; Gal 5:22f; 1Cor 12; Rev 22:17; Jn 4:14, 7:38)
    ○    glory, loving relationship / peace with God (Mt 17:2; 1Cor 15:43,49; Gal 3:26f, 4:6; Rom 5:1f)

●    THE GOSPEL IN GRAFFITI / THE PHYSICIAN’S FOREVER

    ○    rescued thief destined to serve unendingly the one who saved him (Jn 15:15)
